This is a very sympathetic record of Keats' letters and poems, and anyone interested in his thoughts/personality is likely to find themselves pleased.

I think this book was very interesting. The way Sam Shepard had the characters set up and there atitiudes about the whole situation was brilliant. I thik it was delightful

Having only recently had my eyes opened to the benefits of A Course in Miracles, this book has been very enlightening about the Courses' interpretations of relationships. Although at times difficult to understand, the author takes the reader step by step through defining special relationship to holy relationships. A must read for anyone studying A Course in Miracles.

For rock-and-roll fans, this book is long overdue. Whether you're planning a road trip to Graceland or just want to know where to find a hole-in-the-wall record store on your next vacation, this book is for you. Most travel guides focus on families and seniors, but this book is definitely written with a younger, hipper sensibility. Region by region and state by state, you'll find most everything you'd want to know about a city's rock-n-roll shrines and out-of-the-way spots that most guides (including Fodor's) usually leave out.

For those persons who were young and not yet "settled in" in thirty years ago, this book (a short journal, really) recounting an insider's point of view about a major spiritual renewal that occurred in 1970 on a number of college campuses will be an inspiring return visit to a little-reported aspect of that past.

As a college classmate of the author and being familiar with most of the locations and persons described, I can certainly vouch for the accuracy of the journal, as well as recommend its reading for a candid and factual glimpse of what was a seminal event in many a person's life. The author lives in Georgia, still living out the effects of the events he recorded.

When I read this book I couldn't put it down. It is confusing at first, but it is one of the most interesting books I have ever read. I really recommend this book if you enjoy bizzare books.

Sams has another winner in it's series of Teach Yourself Books. Office 2000 in 24 hours gives you what you will need to know in easy, digestible chunks. It is easy to read and understand, formatted well and has ample illustrations. You get a solid foundation in the basics and will be up and running with what you learn. In that sense, it is one stop shopping; you won't have to buy another book for Office. This can serve as a learning tool and a reference. Although advanced users may prefer a different title, most people would do well adding this title to their library.

Being a part of an educational institute, I recommended this book for our students. I found this to be a very comprehensive reference book, which has been nicely organized so that even if one doesnt want to read it cover to cover, they can still access the exact information that they need in a speedy way. The books has self explanatory pictures and diagrams making it interesting and easy to follow. Teh Q&A's at the end of the chapters are also good from the self assesment point of view as well as for the instructors reference. I cant find anything negative to say about this book except for one small thing: this book is ideally suited for users already familiar with the previous office suite. However, novices may find the content of this book a little more than can be covered in 24 hours. Everything else, the print, the organization and the content is excellent.

I think this is a good book for someone who wants to learn Windows 98 from scratch, but also interesting for the more experienced user looking to make use of all of the features included in this software.

Personally I'm a comfortable user who wanted to discover the new features (vs. Windows 95), and learn tips and shortcuts on how to use this new operating system more efficiently. From this perspective, this book gave me satisfaction. I learned a few shortcuts and features I hadn't discovered after using it for about 6 monthes. The interesting paragraphs are clearly highlited with icons, it's good for somebody who doesn't want to take the time to read it from cover to cover. This way, the 1-hour lessons takes more like 15 minutes each !

Now I'm not too sure about spending the money to buy it (I just borrowed it from my local library). I think it makes sense only if you're a total beginner and/or uncomfortable with a computer, so that you will need constant access to it (like my dad ! :).
